The Rustic Chef

Local foodies and tourists alike are welcomed to prepare for a new flavour in town. Award-winning Polish Chef, Dawid Pniak, brings European cuisine with an international twist to Limegrove Lifestyle Centre, debuting his first restaurant under his personal brand, The Rustic Chef, which has become well-known on the local culinary scene for the past six years.

With a new home-base, the casual restaurant and café opened its doors on December 1st, 2019, kick-starting the festive season with an exciting Sunday Brunch which repeats weekly.

The family owned business is run by Chef Dawid and his wife who are keen to ensure their customers feel like family too. “We want the dining experience to feel very welcoming and comfortable, to create a place where the whole family can come out to eat, even the kids,” Chef Dawid stated. To achieve this, The Rustic Chef promises hearty, gourmet dishes utilizing fresh, local produce with a range of menu classics from salads and wraps to burgers and paninis.

The restaurant is open daily with service through breakfast, brunch (on Sundays), lunch and dinner. In addition, The Rustic Chef will also retail gourmet cheeses, coffees, and freshly baked breads. At the opening launch, Developer of Limegrove Lifestyle Centre, Sir Paul Altman, remarked, “The Rustic Chef is a fine complement to the range of dining options at Limegrove. It is something authentic and different... Chef’s food is inventive and soulful.”
